My Last couple of weeks before Japan.

So ive spent the last week or two getting things organised and also spending time with family and Gavin. I had a lovely long weekend in Glasgow with Gavin where i did a little bit of clothes shopping for going away and we also visited Kelvingrove Museum. Its going to be very strange not seeing him every day but i suppose that is where skype will come in handy!

 I also went to London with a friend for 4 days to see One Direction. Although we were surrounded by a bunch of 12 year olds it was actually a really good concert. We did a little shopping, visited m&m world and ripleys believe it or not museum.

 

This time next week i shall be in Tokyo with my new flatmates getting ready to fly to Nagasaki to start our adventure working in the hospital. The nerves are starting to slightly kick in now but im also extremely excited!!

Almost sorted!

Yesterday was a good day, not only did i finally purchase travel insurance, set up online banking and print out all my important documents for customs as well as print out copies of everything for my parents i also managed to cook some spag bol for vday! go me. somehow Dumfries managed to go from being covered on snow on wednesday.. to being beautiful and sunny. Perfect day to go a jog and listen to some Japanese..

18 days to go!

So there is only 18 days to go before i set off on my flight from Glasgow to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Tokyo Narita .So far i still need to sort out my travel insurance which is prooving harder than i originally thought! I need to sort out money, pack my case and print out all of my documents that i need to take to show at the airport. ahh.
But most importantly i need to try and learn some basic Japanese to keep me going until i pick more up. It is such a hard language to learn and finding motivation is difficult! Ive bought about 3 audio tapes and 2 guide books to try get me in the zone but it just isnt working..
